About SIMME
The School of Infrastructure, Minerals & Manufacturing Engineering (SIMME) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, is dedicated to training world-class engineers who can design, build, and optimize infrastructure projects, extract and process minerals responsibly, and develop advanced manufacturing solutions. Our seven engineering departments work together to advance industrial innovation and sustainable development.
With state-of-the-art laboratories, hands-on training, industry partnerships, and experienced faculty, SIMME students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
