LEGACY by Gabriel

LEGACY by Gabriel (hereinafter referred to as “LEGACY”, the “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a comprehensive, all-in-one educational platform developed and operated by Gabriel Oluwademilade Adeniji (the “Founder” / “Developer”) alongside the official LEGACY Team. The brand name “LEGACY by Gabriel” has been formally registered; however, full business registration with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is currently pending completion.

LEGACY is no longer centred around the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). It has evolved into a global educational ecosystem designed to serve university students worldwide, irrespective of institution, country, or programme of study. The Platform delivers a broad suite of tools and resources — including digital libraries, practice examinations, AI-powered assistance, in-app payments, career development, campus utilities, and community engagement features — all within a single, unified experience.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or otherwise using the Platform in any capacity, you (the “User”, “you”, or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy and any supplementary guidelines published on the Platform. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement and are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including — but not limited to — the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, the Copyright Act 2022, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018, the Child Rights Act 2003, and the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.

For the purposes of these Terms, the following words and expressions shall carry the meanings set out below unless the context requires otherwise:

• “User” or “Student” means any individual who accesses, browses, registers on, or otherwise interacts with the Platform in any capacity.
• “Account” means the personal, registered profile that a User creates in order to access and utilise the services offered by the Platform.
• “Content” means all materials available on or through the Platform, including (but not limited to) textbooks, notes, past examination questions, video lectures, e-books, articles, simulations, forum posts, comments, code, AI-generated outputs, and any files uploaded by Users or administrators.
• “CoreLibrary” means the informational directory within the Platform that provides Users with details about their institution, faculties, departments, and academic structure.
• “GenLib” (General Library) means the central digital resource hub of LEGACY by Gabriel, where all academic materials are hosted on LEGACY’s own secure servers.
• “ExamSphere” means the practice examination system provided within the Platform, comprising two sectors: ExamSphere Precision (CBT-based) and ExamSphere Insight (AI-powered written examinations).
• “ExamSphere Precision” means the Computer-Based Test (CBT) sector of ExamSphere, offering objective, multiple-choice and timed assessments.
• “ExamSphere Insight” means the written examination sector of ExamSphere — Nigeria’s first AI-powered written examination system with human review, proudly built by LEGACY by Gabriel right here in Nigeria.
• “LEGACY Pay” means the centralised in-app payment system through which Users conduct all financial transactions within the Platform using LEGACY Credits.
• “LGC”, “LEGACY Credits”, or “LEGACY Coins” means the in-app utility credit used exclusively for transactions within LEGACY by Gabriel. The official name is LEGACY Credits; it may alternatively be referred to as LEGACY Coins. LGC is not a cryptocurrency; it carries no blockchain, no external trading capability, no investment value, and no monetary status outside the Platform. The fixed exchange rate is ₦1 = 1 LGC.
• “Brand Ambassador” means a User who has been formally accepted — via invitation or application — to represent and promote LEGACY, and who receives milestone-based rewards as detailed in Section 9.
• “Developer” or “Founder” means Gabriel Oluwademilade Adeniji, the creator and principal operator of LEGACY by Gabriel.
• “Team” means the official team members of LEGACY by Gabriel as identified in Section 23 of these Terms.

By creating an Account, accessing any page, or using any feature of the Platform, you represent and warrant that you satisfy all eligibility requirements and that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms in their entirety.

• Minimum Age: You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to use the Platform. Users below the age of eighteen (18) must obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to registration.
• Legal Capacity: You must possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
• Global Access: LEGACY by Gabriel is available to all students worldwide — there are no restrictions based on country, region, or institution.
• Acceptance of Updates: We may revise these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform following any such revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Registration & Accuracy: To access the full range of services available on the Platform, you must register an Account by providing accurate, current, and complete information — including your full legal name, a valid email address, your matriculation number, faculty and department, and the name of your university.

Account Security: You bear sole responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at gabriel@legacybygabriel.com.ng if you suspect any unauthorised access to or compromise of your Account.

One Account Per User: Each Account is personal, non-transferable, and assigned to a single individual. You may not share, sell, lease, or otherwise grant access to your Account to any third party.

Voluntary Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your Account at any time by contacting our support team.

LEGACY by Gabriel provides a comprehensive suite of educational, productivity, and community services:

• CoreLibrary — An informational directory that gives Users detailed information about their institution, faculties, and departments.
• GenLib (General Library) — The central resource hub of LEGACY by Gabriel, where all academic materials are hosted on LEGACY’s own secure servers. GenLib replaces the previous Offline Study Packs system.
• ExamSphere — A unified examination platform with two distinct sectors: ExamSphere Precision (CBT) and ExamSphere Insight (AI-powered written examinations with human review).
• LEGACY Pay — A centralised in-app payment system powered by LEGACY Credits (LGC), which also houses the Referral System.
• LEGACY Videos — Our primary video learning platform, available at videos.html.
• Student Tools — Academic productivity utilities including a GPA Calculator, Digital Notes, Study Planner, and more.
• LEGACY AI — AI-powered study assistance and productivity tools.
• Career Hub — Career guidance, internship listings, job opportunities, and professional development resources.
• DevLab — A coding sandbox and developer environment for students.
• LEGACY Connect — A student networking platform for peer-to-peer interaction.
• Business Catalogue — A directory for student-run businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.
• LEGACY Voice (Voice of Futarians) — A community expression platform.
• Aspirants Guide — A resource hub for prospective university students.
• Live Campus Maps — Interactive campus navigation maps.
• Campus Events — An events calendar aggregating campus activities.

The platform offers two complementary information and resource environments:

CoreLibrary — Your Institution & Department Guide:

CoreLibrary has been simplified into a clean, informative directory. It now gives Users structured information about their institution, faculties, departments, course structures, and academic pathways. CoreLibrary no longer hosts academic materials directly.

GenLib — The Central Resource Hub:

All academic resources — textbooks, lecture notes, past examination questions, study packs, research papers, and reference materials — are now centralized in GenLib (General Library), LEGACY’s official resource hub.

• No More Offline Study Packs: The previous Offline Study Packs system has been retired. All resources now live permanently in GenLib.
• Fully LEGACY-Hosted: Every resource is stored on LEGACY Servers. Third-party hosting platforms — including MEGA — are no longer used.
• Pricing: GenLib offers a blend of free and premium content. Premium resources are purchased exclusively with LEGACY Credits (LGC).
• Content Sources: Academic materials are sourced from students and student-led academic platforms, made available with the express permission of content administrators.
• No Redistribution: The redistribution, re-uploading, sharing, or commercial exploitation of any GenLib content outside the Platform is strictly prohibited.
• Resource Updates: LEGACY bears the responsibility to keep resources — including GenLib content and ExamSphere materials — up to date. Users who encounter outdated or incorrect materials are encouraged to report them to gabriel@legacybygabriel.com.ng.
• Copyright Claims: If you believe any material hosted on GenLib infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us immediately at gabriel@legacybygabriel.com.ng.

ExamSphere is LEGACY’s unified practice examination platform, comprising two distinct sectors designed to serve different styles of academic testing:

ExamSphere Precision (CBT):

• Computer-Based Testing sector offering objective, multiple-choice, and timed assessments.
• Automatically generated from existing notes and study materials available on the Platform.
• Provides instant scoring, performance analytics, and progress tracking.

ExamSphere Insight (Written):

• Nigeria’s first AI-powered written examination system with human review, proudly built by LEGACY by Gabriel right here in Nigeria.
• Evaluates written, essay-style, and open-ended responses using LEGACY’s proprietary AI grading engine.
• All AI evaluations are reviewed by human academics to ensure grading quality, fairness, and constructive feedback.
• Designed to mirror the structure and rigour of real university written examinations.

Malpractice Policy:

The malpractice policy for any ExamSphere session is subject to the test or examination being taken:

• Personal Practice (Default): Since ExamSphere is primarily designed for personal practice and self-assessment, there is no malpractice policy enforced during ordinary personal use. Users are trusted to study honestly and use ExamSphere as a tool for their own growth.
• Institutional Examinations: When an examination is hosted on LEGACY by Gabriel on behalf of an institution, the User is subject to that institution’s own rules, regulations, and malpractice policies. LEGACY acts as a hosting provider only.

LEGACY Pay is the centralised, integrated payment system that powers all financial transactions within the Platform. It operates exclusively using LEGACY Credits (LGC) — officially known as LEGACY Credits and alternatively referred to as LEGACY Coins.

• Exchange Rate: The fixed exchange rate is ₦1 (one Naira) = 1 LGC. All existing User balances were honestly updated at the time this rate took effect.
• Minimum Top-Up: The minimum amount is ₦100 (equivalent to 100 LGC).
• Payment Processor: Flutterwave is our primary and only integrated payment processor for automated transactions. Manual payments are permitted under certain conditions and are subject to manual verification by The LEGACY Team.
• No Service Fees: LEGACY does not charge any service fees on top-up transactions or in-app purchases.
• Personal Use Only: LGC may not be transferred, gifted, traded, or sold to any other User or third party.
• Withdrawal Policy: LGC is non-withdrawable. Balances cannot be cashed out or converted back into Naira or any other currency, except under a specific internal agreement with The LEGACY Team.
• No Expiry: LGC balances do not expire for Accounts that remain in good standing.
• Reselling Prohibited: The resale, bartering, or commercial trading of LGC is strictly prohibited.
• Forfeiture on Termination: If your Account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, your entire LGC balance shall be automatically and permanently forfeited.
• Refunds for Payment Errors: Refunds are processed only in cases of verified payment errors, submitted within seven (7) days of the transaction.

The Referral System is integrated directly into LEGACY Pay and rewards Users with LEGACY Credits (LGC) for successfully bringing new members to the Platform.

• Standard Referral Reward: When a new User signs up using your referral link, you receive 100 LGC, and the newly referred User receives 50 LGC — provided the signup is completed in full.
• Brand Ambassador Rewards (Milestone-Based): Brand Ambassadors receive milestone-based bonuses determined through a specific agreement with The LEGACY Team.
• Ambassadorial Term — One Year Validity: All ambassadorial roles are valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of appointment. Status automatically expires unless renewed by mutual agreement with The LEGACY Team.
• Monthly Referral Cap: Each User is limited to a maximum of fifty (50) successful referrals per calendar month.
• Becoming a Brand Ambassador: Through invitation or formal application.
• Ambassador Removal: LEGACY reserves the right to revoke Brand Ambassador status at any time.
• Anti-Abuse: Any form of referral abuse — including self-referral, fake accounts, automated signups, incentive fraud, or manipulative schemes — will result in immediate revocation of all rewards and potential Account ban.

LEGACY Videos is our primary in-platform video learning environment, accessible at videos.html. It hosts structured video lessons, tutorials, and educational content fully integrated with the LEGACY by Gabriel ecosystem.

Our official YouTube channel, @LEGACYbyGabriel, now serves as a secondary video platform. It is used to complement LEGACY Videos with supplementary lessons, promotional content, and public educational material.

When accessing content through YouTube, you acknowledge that such content is additionally governed by YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.

All educational videos and materials are provided for informational and supplementary learning purposes only.

In addition to the core services described above, LEGACY by Gabriel offers the following supplementary modules, all provided on an “as-is” basis:

• Student Tools (GPA Calculator, Notes, Study Planner) — Utilities to support academic planning. LEGACY bears no responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect user entries.
• LEGACY AI — AI-generated outputs are intended as supplementary study aids. Always verify AI-generated content against authoritative academic sources.
• Career Hub, DevLab, LEGACY Connect, Business Catalogue — LEGACY does not endorse, vet, or guarantee any third-party listings, job postings, or business entries.
• LEGACY Voice (Voice of Futarians) — All contributions must comply with these Terms. Harassment, hate speech, defamation, or obscene/violent/illegal content is strictly prohibited.
• Aspirants Guide, Live Campus Maps, Campus Events — Informational modules that may contain outdated or incomplete information. Users should independently verify critical details.

By uploading, posting, or otherwise submitting any content to the Platform, you automatically grant LEGACY by Gabriel a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, reformat, adapt, and promote your content within the Platform and through our official channels.

• Ownership & Warranty: You represent and warrant that you are the rightful owner of the content you upload, or that you hold all necessary rights.
• Responsibility: You remain solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all content you submit.
• Removal Requests: You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting our support team.
• Moderation: LEGACY reserves the right to review, edit, refuse, or remove any user-submitted content.

All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform — including the brand name “LEGACY by Gabriel”, the LEGACY logo, the LEGACY Credits (LGC) mark, source code, UI designs, visual design system, proprietary algorithms (including the ExamSphere Insight AI grading engine), and documentation — are and shall remain the exclusive property of Gabriel Adeniji (LEGACY by Gabriel).

You are expressly prohibited from copying, reproducing, downloading (except as permitted within GenLib), modifying, adapting, distributing, reselling, reverse-engineering, decompiling, scraping, or creating derivative works based on any part of the Platform without prior written authorisation.

The following activities are expressly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate Account suspension or permanent ban:

• LGC Reselling: Selling, trading, bartering, or attempting to transfer LEGACY Credits to another User or third party.
• Automated Activity: Using bots, scripts, crawlers, or automated tools to perform any action on the Platform.
• Scraping & Redistribution: Mass-downloading, scraping, mirroring, or redistributing GenLib materials or any Platform content.
• Academic Dishonesty: Sharing, leaking, or distributing ExamSphere questions or answers; impersonating another User; or using any unauthorised aid.
• Hacking & Tampering: Attempting unauthorised access, deploying malware, or interfering with Platform operations.
• Harmful Content: Uploading harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or illegal content.
• Impersonation: Misrepresenting your identity or creating false Account information.
• Violation of Law: Using the Platform for any purpose that contravenes Nigerian law or applicable international regulation.

LEGACY by Gabriel is deeply committed to safeguarding the personal data and privacy of its Users. All personal information is handled in strict compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, as well as the principles of the European Union’s GDPR where applicable.

Data We Collect: Upon registration and during your use of the Platform, we collect your full legal name, email address, phone number, matriculation number, faculty and department, university or institution name, and technical/usage analytics data.

Marketing & User Research Communications: By using the Platform, you consent to being contacted by LEGACY for marketing reasons and for User Research purposes. You may opt out of marketing-related messages at any time through your Account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Opting out does not affect transactional or service-critical messages.

Payment Data: Payment transactions are processed primarily through Flutterwave, our official payment processor. Manual payments under certain conditions may also be processed on a case-by-case basis. LEGACY receives only the minimum transaction information required to confirm and credit your payment.

LEGACY reserves the absolute right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any User Account that is found to be in violation of these Terms — without prior warning.

Grounds for immediate termination include: academic dishonesty, fraud, LGC reselling, scraping or redistribution of content, automated account activity, uploading harmful content, impersonation, and any other conduct that threatens the integrity of the Platform.

• Effect on LGC: Upon termination for a Terms violation, all LEGACY Credits remaining in the terminated Account are automatically and irrevocably forfeited.
• Data Retention: Following Account closure, user data shall be retained solely for legal, regulatory, financial, and compliance purposes for the duration required under applicable Nigerian law.
• Voluntary Deletion: Users may request Account deletion at any time by contacting the support team.

The Platform, together with all of its services, features, content, and materials, is provided on a strict “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any representation or warranty of any kind.

LEGACY makes no warranty that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free from viruses.
• Any Content will be accurate, complete, reliable, or current.
• The Platform will meet your specific academic requirements.
• Any particular academic outcome will result from your use of the Platform.

Your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LEGACY by Gabriel, its Founder, Team members, affiliates, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Platform.

In any event, LEGACY’s total aggregate liability to any single User shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the LEGACY Credits balance in your LEGACY Pay wallet at the time of the event, or (b) ₦20,000 (twenty thousand Naira).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LEGACY by Gabriel, its Founder, the LEGACY Team, and any associated partners, affiliates, or service providers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to:

• Your use of, or access to, the Platform;
• Any content you upload, post, or otherwise submit;
• Your violation or breach of any provision of these Terms;
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
• Any negligent or wrongful act or omission on your part.

LEGACY by Gabriel shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in the performance of any obligation under these Terms if such delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

Force Majeure Events include: internet service outages, ISP failures, power supply failures, cyber-attacks, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, armed conflict, industrial action, government orders, and any other event of a similar nature.

LEGACY reserves the right to modify, amend, supplement, or replace these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will:

• Update the Effective Date and Version Number displayed at the top of this document.
• Notify Users of the changes via email notification and/or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Platform following any modification constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Step 1 — Amicable Resolution: Both parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through good-faith discussion via the LEGACY support channels.

Step 2 — Arbitration: If unresolved after thirty (30) calendar days, the matter shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, with the seat of arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.

Step 3 — Litigation: The courts of Lagos State, Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction where injunctive relief is sought.
