How to Protect Yourself: 5 Tips to Avoid Scammers at FUTA

1

Always Verify Through Official Channels

Never Share Personal/Banking Information

University officials will never ask for your password, PIN, or account details via calls/messages.

3

Be Skeptical of "Fast-Track" Offers

If someone guarantees admission or housing for a fee, it's likely a scam. All allocations follow transparent, merit-based processes.

4

Cross-Check Information on Official Websites

Visit futa.edu.ng and official FUTA social media for authentic updates. Avoid third-party sites claiming to represent FUTA.
