The Department of Information Systems at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is a leading academic unit within the School of Computing (SOC), dedicated to developing skilled professionals who bridge technology and business. Information Systems encompasses the integration of computer technology with business processes, data management, and organizational strategy. Our comprehensive curriculum covers database design and management, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, business intelligence and analytics, systems analysis and design, information security, IT project management, and strategic IT planning. Admission Requirements
UTME Requirements
- Minimum UTME score as set by JAMB
- Subject combination: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science
- Five O'Level credits in not more than two sittings
- Credit passes must include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science
Direct Entry Requirements (200 Level)
- Two A'Level passes at credit level in Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry
- ND/OND with minimum Upper Credit in Computing or related fields
- HND with Lower Credit or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology
- Plus O'Level requirements as stated above
